Who we are
Axcess1 is a product of SoftSim Technologies Inc., a Canadian company. This policy explains how we handle personal information on the axcess1.ca website and in our communications with you.
Information we collect
When you request a demonstration or a trial, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, your organization, your e-mail address, your telephone number if you give it, your country, province or state, and your message.
When you fill in one of our forms on LinkedIn (a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form), LinkedIn sends us the details you chose to share, such as your name, e-mail address, job title and organization. We use them only to answer you about Axcess1, as described in this policy.
When you write to us by e-mail, we keep your message and your address so that we can answer.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to operate and protect the site.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that remembers your language, and one that keeps you signed in if you have an account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your request, arrange a demonstration, set up a trial or a licence, and provide support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may write to public bodies at the contact addresses they publish for access-to-information and privacy matters. Every such message says how to stop receiving them, and we honour those requests.
Where it is kept
The axcess1.ca website and the hosted Axcess1 service run on servers located in Canada. Our e-mail is handled by our e-mail service provider. We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Information held in Axcess1 by our customers
Organizations that use Axcess1 store their own requests and records in it. That information belongs to the organization, which remains responsible for it under its own legislation. We handle it only on the organization’s instructions and under our agreement with it. If your question concerns a request you made to a public body, please contact that public body.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to stop receiving our messages. Write to us at the address below. You may also complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
